College is often a formative time in one’s spiritual life. A college student may have access to many Campus ministry groups and have flexible time to pursue spiritual growth and engage in rich and fulfilling social interactions. Life after college is different. The responsibilities, opportunities, and day-to-day life routines will change– and the social networks will be different. Many Christians struggle to adjust because they don’t know how to make sense of the new environment and pace of life in the marketplace – or how to bring God into their occupation or workplace culture.

CBMC is a movement of business professionals whom God has called to take Christ to the marketplace and make disciples who multiply by making disciples (2 Tim. 2:2). We desire to help young men navigate the transition from campus to the marketplace without putting God on the shelf. CBMC Maryland is working on a pilot program with Alumni Connect to minister to young men who are college seniors or recent graduates and walk alongside them in their transition from campus to marketplace ministry. Alumni Connect helps foster one-on-one mentoring relationships with a local seasoned believer to help the recent graduate navigate the transition into the real world. We will also leverage connections with campus ministries at Stevenson and Towson Universities.

YOUR HELP WANTED!

We will need CBMC men to volunteer to be mentors and disciple makers for these young men.  If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity to serve as a mentor/discipler, please visit https://www.establishalumni.com to learn more about the Alumni Connect model. Next, reach out to Chuck Whitmore by email to set aside time to discuss. He will contact you for a no obligation look at some details further explaining this process.
