CBMC Leadership Coach Training
The CBMC Mid-Atlantic region (Maryland, Pennsylvania and Delaware) certified 17 leaders as CBMC Leadership Coaches on May 20th. This training began with a full day of instruction by program creator, Dr. Roger Erdvig, at the Donaldson Brown Center in Port Deposit MD.
This full day workshop provided the basics of Christian leadership coaching and showed how coaching seamlessly melds with and supports CBMC’s emphasis on Christ Life Leadership. The following eight weeks of virtual Zoom sessions built upon the content learned. Practicing coaching skills with a peer partner helped the participants gain confidence to apply coaching skills in a variety of real-life situations.
Quarterly Coaching Refresher Training
CBMC also provides virtual quarterly Coach Refresher sessions that are an opportunity to practice coaching skills. The July 22nd session focused on being curious and asking to go deeper in our conversations. Combining coaching questions with the CBMC spiritual awareness chart, can helps us understand where someone is on their spiritual journey.

- January 27, 2024 Coaching Discovery Session (intro to coaching)
- March 9, 2024 All-day coach training (+ 8 weeks for certification)
