Chuck Whitmore, Field Partner

Chuck Whitmore is currently serving as a Field Partner with CBMC Maryland.  CBMC is Christian Business Men’s Connection. He previously served as the Maryland Area Director for CBMC from 2008 to 2022.  He and his wife, Vikki live in Timonium and have 3 grown children and 4 grandchildren.  Prior to his call to full time Christian work with CBMC, Chuck was employed by Crawford & Company, US Property and Casualty division, managing the six office locations in Maryland and Delaware.  His career with Crawford & Company provided an opportunity to live and work in five different cities in Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee and Maryland.  It was in Chattanooga Tennessee where Chuck committed his life to a personal relationship with Christ at a CBMC Prayer Breakfast at the age of 37. Chuck has lived in the Baltimore area since 1990. 

Chuck’s current role on the CBMC Maryland staff team focuses on support for several initiatives including CBMC Leadership Coach Training, BSR Becoming Spiritual Reproducers discipleship training, co-leading several C3 teams and assisting in outreach meetings in Baltimore County. He is an advocate for the Young Professionals movement and coordinates the Alumni Connect initiative connecting college seniors with CBMC marketplace mentors.  He also serves as a Baltimore Prayer Circle leader and is an advocate for ministry partnerships in the Baltimore area.

He has served in the US Army Reserves as both a Commissioned Infantry officer and as a Staff Sergeant, and was a Drill Sergeant at Fort Polk, Louisiana.  After graduating from Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia, Chuck’s first job was as a police officer with the Roanoke County Sheriff’s Department.  Chuck has served as an Elder and Deacon at his local church and has Served on the Missions Committee for many years. He been involved in the building of 18 homes during the 20 years he has volunteered with Sandtown Habitat for Humanity. He and Vikki enjoy bike riding on area trails and travel to visit grandchildren in California and Tennessee.
